Dia De Los Muertos 2021

My 2021 altar installed in the beautiful Coachella library plaza at @raices_cultura ‘s Dia De Los Muertos celebration. Honored to participate in such a remarkable gathering. I gave away 3×5 altar cards (bookmarks) to visitors, visible in several of these images. I learn a lot about a lot each year I do this.

Day of the Dead altar building plus my work in sustainability led me to the idea of Day for Descendants altar celebrations connecting our lineages + legacies. Hopefully growing awareness and better decisions for the future (and us now!). Day for Descendants Intentions & Altars launched at @flat.black.gallery in April.
